Before this novel I had never read anything by this author. I am delighted to say she is one great writer. The story begins with a mother and daughter driving in a heavy rain storm who hit a runner. Unexpectedly he dies. As the tale unfolds many of the characters are carrying secrets that eventually are exposed. The beauty of this author’s story is that the dialog and characters are realistic. Delinsky is one I have added to my list of favorite authors
